The Sr. Business Project Program Manager directs the strategic development and implementation of large product/program initiatives, including new products and services to drive VBC growth. Evaluates new product ideas, creates business cases, and makes recommendations and launch plans for additions to the product portfolio. Collaborates with segments, ACS teams, plan sponsors and providers on product needs and gaps in the portfolio, and proactively seeks solutions and supports the business by recommending appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs. Has responsibility for leading/managing all aspects of a project and or program such as planning, coordination, development, implementation including the financial implications while prioritizing work, resources and time.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate across all segments and with our sales and operations teams to drive innovative product development and add new programs and products to our portfolio. Product innovation will drive the growth and success of our business and will support the enablement of our provider systems in VBC models to achieve goals of lower medical costs, quality care, and patient satisfaction.
Product Strategy and Innovation team seeks a high energy professional for the following responsibilities:
Own program strategy and day-to-day management of the program development.
Collaborate with internal business teams, external partners and customers to set direction and establish a multi-year roadmap.
Sets the direction of the strategic business plan and translates into vision for staff/others
As a business leader, influences all stake holders to support key projects/programs to ensure positive outcomes that deliver on results.
Drives change in order to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and/or systems/quality/services (e.g., policies, processes or systems).
Identifies gaps in processes or organization and challenges self and others to develop and implement solutions.
Directs accountability for impact to SG&A - Ensures accurate prioritization of key projects/programs within purview.
Has ultimate accountability for project management services being delivered including organizations budget and/or financial implications.
Solicit feedback from customers, internal subject matter experts, and executives, and convey product strategy and plans to the same audiences.
Ensures customer experience is optimized
Support sales / business development teams on product strategy and meeting the needs of the market.
Interpret legislative, competitive and industry issues to mitigate risk and recommend products enhancements.
Manage the tactical execution of quantitative and qualitative market research regarding market and customer needs.
Collect and interpret Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Business input for all new business concepts.
10+ yeas of related experience as a Product Manager with Managed Health Care products and services, ACO programs preferred.
Extensive experience with developing business cases, business development activities and new products/services for ROI analysis.
Solid experience with ROI processes and procedures.
Extensive experience with navigating various segments and launching new products and new programs.
Multiple years proven leadership setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes.
Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs that resulted in value
Experience managing large budgets.
Project management experience.
Good business acumen
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Considered for locations in a specific region, state, or city; training period in the office may be required.
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:
This position supports the Eastern and Mid Western regions.
Travel requirement is up to 25%.
