Sodexo Operations LLC Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania
Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services/Custodial Manager for the Philadelphia area at Penn Presbyterian Hospital for a night shift (10:00pm start) opportunity. The selected candidate must have stellar customer service skills as the client/patient experience is crucial to this role. This position requires a take charge, hands-on individual that will lead and train employees on quality control and safety guidelines. Oversight of night shift of the critical care units, Sodexo Trakkar software, and Perioperative units.

-Responsibility of 18 employees to manage and develop staff within in a CARES/FOSS mentality.
-Familiar with TRAKKAR software, one on one training, standardized approach to service.
-Ability to maintain a consistent demeanor and hold staff accountable for their performance. Essential to collaborate and work as a team to achieve mutual goals.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for driving and improving the patient experience. This housekeeping/custodial manager will need to implement Sodexo programs, policies and procedures while managing a team of 22 employees. This position will report directly to the General Manager and/or Operations Manager. The Custodial Manager may be required to participate in a rotational "on call" schedule involving rotating weekends and holidays. We are in search of a self motivated leader with the desire to deliver outstanding results for the organization. The ability to motivate and inspire staff to exceed expectations is a desired characteristic for this manager. Must be able to drive HCAHPS results to a high level and understand ENGAGE patient satisfaction process. Overall, will need to motivate hourly staff and maintain cleaning quality to a very high level. Driving client engagement and patient/employee satisfaction is essential for the success of this role.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
