Job Summary:

The Manager, Workforce Diversity & Inclusion Communications, will be responsible for planning and executing executive communications, quarterly internal publications, employee communications, video communications, and digital communications to support the business. The Manager will support communications for the Workforce Diversity & Inclusion, Military Hiring and University Relations teams, and will report to the Director, Workforce Diversity & Inclusion.

This role is responsible for the creation, implementation, and development of employee communications that support internal programs and initiatives. The Manager will collaborate with all levels and areas of the organization on projects and programs.

Role Specific Responsibilities:

- Manages employee communications designed to support key business objectives, long-term goals, and projects (Ex. Employee Resource Groups, Employee Enrichment Series, Military Hiring Communications, University Relations updates etc.)

- Partners with leadership to develop and implement broad-based employee communications tools, providing employees with messaging and industry/competitive content for key initiatives

- Writes and edits company-wide communications, and develops metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of communications and tools

- Writes speeches, talking points, and creates presentations for senior leadership

- Responsible for building and implementing the quarterly team report and annual communications calendar

- Supports the build, updates and management of key SharePoint sites

- Supports video production through the development of scripts, editing, and securing licensure for music and images

- Partners with Comcast and NBCUniversal Corporate Communications teams as needed

Core Responsibilities:

- Establishes company best practices and tools for communications, and persistently researches new industry tools and practices

- Reports all communications expenses and ensures accuracy

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance required

- Has ability to travel 25%, and able to work nights and weekends to support travel and events

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


- Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree a plus

- Generally requires 6 years communications experience, PR Agency a plus

- Strong executive presence, and a proven ability to build internal partnerships

- Ability to work in a fast paced, work environment while managing multiple priorities

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior executive presentation skills
