The Marketing Content Specialist plays an integral role in content creation, communications, and marketing for PerformRx and PerformSpecialty. Develops and applies a consistent communication style and ensures execution in all messages for both offline and online marketing materials, including web sites, social media, direct mail pieces, email, brochures, media advertising, email, videos, infographics, and other sales collateral. Works directly with the Marketing team to develop clear, strong, and persuasive promotional copy as is needed for concepts and messages for each brand. Determines sources for content creation, both internally and externally. Solicit contributions from others within the organization and edit as needed. Collaborate with designers, product marketing, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience. Create content regularly to grow the company’s footprint. Will collaborate with operational teams to create case studies and application notes, obtaining customer permissions and developing written content that is relatable, identifies customer needs and highlights success. Develops and manages editorial calendar. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar. Create and manage press releases, blog posts, and other shareable content. Identifies and suggests potential article ideas. Researches, interviews, and writes articles for business publications and e-newsletters by tracking trends and market related stories in relevant to industries. Leverages and maximizes 3rd parties for broad technical content within budget parameters. Assist with overflow editing and proofreading. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, English or related degree
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience
- Minimum 3 years marketing experience
- Exposure to marketing automation and CRM tools
- NetResults and SalesForce experience a plus; writing experience in a related capacity
- Familiarity with social media best practices
- Knowledge of PBM a plus
