Verizon Order Management Supervisor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

What you’ll be doing...

This position manages a group of 10 union employees tasked with providing world class customer experience to our Federal agencies.

Duties will include:

  • Provide mentoring to employees.

  • Hold team meetings.

  • Assign orders and monitor work volume.

  • Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching.

  • Attend customer calls/ frequently speak to customer.

  • Provide second and third level escalation assistance.

  • Communicate company/organizational objectives.

  • Provide strong leadership for the team.

  • Manage large complex projects.

Systems used not limited too.. provisioning controller, F&E, COMS, NSAP, ezstatus, UOTM.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree orfour or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Knowledgeof voice and data networks and how Ethernet is technically and systematically delivered.

  • Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office – including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Supervisory experience.

  • Experience in customer service.

Even better if you have:

  • Critical thinking in decision making process.

  • Ability to deliver written and verbal messages to executive levels of management within Verizon and within customer base.

  • PMP and/or ITTIL certification.

  • Background in managing union employees.
