The Manager, Real Estate will work with the Comcast Cable Corporate Real Estate team ("CCRE") in supporting all Comcast Cable business units. Currently Comcast Cable has over 3,000 properties located in 42 states and 10 countries abroad. The portfolio is diverse with all major commercial property types including office, industrial/flex, retail, and data center. This role will play a critical part in supporting the CHQRE mission of aligning Comcast Cable's real estate footprint with its business strategy, specifically by managing space delivery on time and on budget. The successful candidate can expect to have regular interactions with business unit leaders and other members of the real estate and facilities organizations within Comcast Corporation, to include Comcast Corporate and NBCU. There will also be regular interactions with partner organizations such as Legal, IT, Environmental Health and Safety, Risk, and Security and the ability to manage these relationships will be a key to success.

Core Responsibilities:

Perform property due diligence on multiple property types, especially office and industrial/flex

Manage numerous, disparate construction projects, including space planning and design

Successfully builds strong relationships with multiple internal/external stakeholders

Responsible for vendor RFP and contract negotiations

Prepare budgets and track expenses

Ensure the collection of all required documentation to implement the development process

Experience with workspace and space planning both traditional and alternative

Comfort working in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment

Consistent exercise of independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance

Ability to travel regularly and work outside of normal business hours as needed

Job Specifications:

Bachelor's Degree from accredited university, Master's Degree preferred

Generally Requires 8-11 Year's related experience, with a minimum of 7 in construction project management and/or space planning and design experience

Proficiency with business software (especially MS Excel) and facilities and construction/design technology platforms (project management, CADD, BigCenter), and internal Real

Estate Databases

Preferred Experiences:

Experience as or working directly with commercial construction contractors and architects

Involvement in industry trade organizations such as CoreNet, IFMA, BOMA
