Job Summary:

Responsible for the overall management and strategic planning involved with important and large-scale business projects. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Responsible for facilitating the successful, on-time, high qualitydelivery of various product development activities by leading and coaching delivery teams. Applies continuous learning to be more responsive to rapidly changing business conditions through the ongoing application of principles and practices of multiple agile frameworks, primarily scrum. Possesses expert understanding of how scrum and other agile frameworks work to deliver business value and how various practices can and should evolve. Serves as the on-scene expert and not only understands these concepts, but is able to articulate their valueand the dynamics of using one or more of them. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.

Core Responsibilities:

-Responsible for the planning and facilitation of standard meetings to include; backlog preparation, iteration planning, retrospectives, iteration reviews and daily stand-ups

-Engages with any needed business entity to help remove obstacles to his or her teams being able to deliver on stated goals and influences working agreements

-Is a leader in the agile community within and outside of Comcast in order to better understand how to be effective in the role and apply experiences of others in improving team performance

-Engages and assists the product owner to ensure that work requests are properly articulated, prioritized and detailed

-Works to identify blocked or stalled stories and influences the team to resolve the issues

-Present updates at scrum-of-scrums

-Provide training to new team members regarding agile process Identify additional team and individual training needs of existing members

-Ensures that scrum framework is utilized in a manner consistent with the corporate framework

-Dedicated to continuous process improvement through feedback loops, coaching, retrospectives, and individual improvement

-Acts as a mentor for junior level scrum masters and project managers- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

-Reviews successes and failures of completed projects. Recommends alternatives or adjustments to correct problems or solidify successes in the perspective of current and proposed operating strategies.

-Evaluates outside service providers or contractors; provides direction in the development of tailored services; negotiates contract terms and conditions.

-Directs project teams in the development and implementation of project plans.

-Instructs team on project-specific assignments.

-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specification:

-Generally requires 12 years related experience

-Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Business
