POSITION SUMMARY

Business Innovation lead is a new role to help bridge our health plans and shared services support needs, by applying emerging technology solutions from a business perspective. It will require fluency in facilitating external market assessments, technology mapping, customer experience mapping and a strong knowledge of I/T and sector innovations.

Fundamental Components:

Customer Experience Mapping - Work with business leaders and SMEs (subject matter experts) to assess key objectives and determine opportunities for technology infusion. Health Plan Technology Liaison - Collaborate with internal technology partners to map innovative solutions which address or proactively position the Medicaid business for success. External Market Assessments - Aggressively research and propose emerging technology products and processes that can be leveraged by Medicaid which will drive competitive differentiation. Tech. mapping (Digital Strategies) - Maximize external and internal digital strategies and products which will enhance constituent experiences. Work within the Enterprise to leverage existing assets. Proof of Concept - Facilitate execution of POCs as it relates to innovative recommendations. Executive Presentations - Construct and present succinct and professional presentations that simply convey our proposals. Financial Management - Aggressively negotiate with technology providers for low cost/no cost POCs and highly economical software acquisitions.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes.

Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs that resulted in cost savings.

Experience managing large budgets.

Project management experience.

Demonstrated negotiation skills.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
