Aetna Long Term Care CM Supervisor in Phoenix, Arizona

POSITION SUMMARY

This position, based in Phoenix AZ, will supervise a team of up to 14 degreed long term care managers with responsibility for case management of Medicaid eligible long term care members. The position will interact with peers and multiple internal and external departments to assist in the provision of services to members.

Fundamental Components:

The position will be primarily office based but will require some travel to assist case managers in the assessment of difficult situations. The supervisor will have responsibility for the generation and review of standard reports to assess productivity and compliance with time frames

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

3-5 years related work experience in a long term care or community setting with experience in case management; supervision; project management. Proven track record meeting project dates; able to manage multiple tasks; excellent communication skills. Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Excellent communication and supervisory skills.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

This position is located in Phoenix, AZ and will be part of a group of 6 other long term care case management teams. The position will provide opportunity for interaction with multiple community groups and internal departments. The successful candidate will be able to influence others on an individual, community and program level in a dynamic environment.
