Medicaid National Quality Management is an exciting and fast paced department to work in. This position is responsible for analyzing interventions, including HEDIS interventions, for the services we provide to the Medicaid plans (IVR calls, text messages, mailers, etc.) This position plays a vital part in determining the effectiveness of an intervention (or the outcomes).
This position meets with internal customers (and external customers as needed) to determine scope of the project, data needs and timelines. Must have excellent verbal and written skills, knowledge of the HEDIS technical specifications and codes, and project management skills. The position will also be responsible for requesting data from various sources to complete analyses as well as utilize SQL to pull data from available resources. The ability to analyze complex data from multiple data sources, and proven ability to illustrate the results in a clear and concise manner via requested presentation method (i.e., PowerPoint, excel, etc.) is needed. Must be motivated with a commitment to quality and on-time deliverables.
3+ years working knowledge of HEDIS technical specifications
SQL programming skills, knowledge of health care claims
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in statistical analysis
Strong Organizational Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
