Job Description:


CACI is seeking a talented graphics artist, with 1 to 3 years of experience, to provide support to our National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) customer. The selected candidate will provide support onsite at the NIOSH Bruceton, PA facility. A telework schedule will be offered.

Required Qualifications:

  • Section 508 compliance expertise. Federal regulations require Section 508 compliance for all published work. The candidate will review PDF, MS Word, and HTML files for Section 508 and convert noncompliant government documents as needed to become Section 508 compliant using Adobe Acrobat Pro and Commonlook Section 508 for Adobe Acrobat files. In some cases, the source document is available (typically in MS Word format) and compliance can be achieved in MS Word. In rare cases, compliance cannot be achieved in PDF format and conversion to HTML format may be necessary. The candidate shall also use in-house data entry software to track documents that he or she has made compliant (this involves typing information into data entry forms only -no database skills are required).

  • Adobe Creative Suite expertise. Candidate will perform Multimedia, Graphics, and Layout and Design work. The candidate shall provide graphics, multimedia, and layout and design support for NIOSH using Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.) and Microsoft Office.

  • HTMLS, CSS: Candidate will use standard HTML development skills to layout and design web pages in support of NIOSH publications.

Desired Qualifications:

Portfolio of creative work reflecting 1-3 years of experience.


Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and zero to two years of related experience.


Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
