Bank of America Application Developer - .Net in Plano, Texas

Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing .Net Developer level analysis, design and hands-on development skills. The person will have demonstrated record of developing successful applications that are highly integrated and reliable. Possess the ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Have strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to be highly collaborative in coming up with solutions. Some duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Design, development and implementation of complex multi-tier systems with Web front end using .Net / C# technologies.

  • Deliver high quality code to realize business requirements, perform peer design and code reviews, and use test driven development practices

  • Create and execute unit, integration and regression test plans/scripts

Required Skills (“Must” have these skills to be minimally qualified):

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience designing, developing and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications

  • 5+ years - Expert knowledge of .Net, MVC , Visual Studio, ASP .net 4.5, WCF, Web APi, SQL server 2012, TFS, ADA , XML, XSL, Telerik,3 application frameworks, design patterns, web and application servers. Must be hands-on.

  • Experience in data access technologies and patterns

  • Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modeling is required

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams

Desired Skills:

  • UI experience using AngularJS, Experience on Entity Framework

  • Experience with component based web application frameworks is desired

  • Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or similar.
