Bank of America QA Analyst - Performance Engineer in Plano, Texas
Focuses on the creation, maintenance and execution of test scripts and other specialty testing activities in the areas of automation testing, performance testing, test environments or application specialties.
Is considered a subject matter expert in one or more of these areas.
Identifies and develops ways to improve the quality, capability, or efficiency of the testing process.
Typically focused on automating new functionality pre-release and maintenance post-release, or driving efficient testing in other areas.
Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.

Driving performance testing strategy, planning, execution and reporting activities.
Design and execute prod-like load test and stability scenarios to ensure best client experience. Responsible for creating performance test scripts and data, including aging data on tables. Documenting test plans and reviewing non-functional requirements with stakeholders. Documenting and analyzing test vs. Prod architecture.
For agile work streams, attending planning sessions to ensure performance testing is tracked with features.
Work with agile teams to cover early performance profiling.
Timely reporting and triage on performance defects, including documentation and escalation as needed.
Partner with team to address all application issues early such as design or functional defects. Focus on risk based communication for defects and results with core stakeholders.
8+ Years of experience
Performance Testing toolset – including LoadRunner, Transaction Trace tools, DB Analysis tools, Server Resource Analysis, Browser Profiling tools and Log Analysis.
Performance and Non-functional requirements Gathering, Creating Performance Test Strategy, Resource Management of local and remote teams in differing time zones, Executive Level Reporting and interaction.
Experienced in systems analysis and design for performance and stability.
Able to manage organization growth activities including proposals, recruitment activities, Performance testing training of team members and knowledge transfer across teams.
