Bank of America Technical Project Solutions Consultant in Plano, Texas
Supports for End to End Technology for programs and projects. Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery. Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects. Manages multiple projects or a single major project. Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions. Assists with technology estimates, manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment. Manages to timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility. Build positive give and take relationships with stakeholders. Use the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
Ability to lead and deliver the DCRS technology solution with quality, on-time, and within budget
Owns end-to-end lifecycle accountability to deliver the right technology solution while following the Enterprise Project Standards for planning, executing, controlling and closing the technology components and deliverables within project
Ability to identify potential risks and escalate as needed, remove roadblocks to ensure progress
Ability to execute project using Agile methodology
Ability to monitor, track, and communicate project status to key stakeholders and executives
Manages and oversees deliverables of technology resources identified on resource plan (including design, coding and testing teams)
Owns technology resource plan and related financial forecast
Ability to monitors and reconcile budget and spend including burn rate, consultant direct billing and forecast variance. Owns financial forecast relating to hardware purchases, related software and testing, and services provided by contractors
Proficient in Bank of America change tools and processes (PPRT, Nexus, PDWare, PCM, SharePoint, Discovery, Quality Center, MS Suite)
Leads delivery of technical sections of requirements as well as design, traceability matrix, deployment tasks and Contingency plan
Ensures all impacted applications are accounted for and incorporated into requirements and design documents
Maintains Nexus and PCM project information and drives estimation process for Project Charter, requirements/features. Vets estimates and ensures technology stakeholders are accurately identified
Partners with QA/testing teams to ensure testing deliverables/timelines are met
Oversees deployment readiness plans and documentation; and ensures deployment timelines and event are coordinated with broader planned release activities
