Job Summary

Rust Constructors, Inc., an AECOM Company is seeking a Chief Accounting Clerk for our Pleasanton, Texas location.

Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:

The Accounting Clerks job family is responsible for performing routine office support duties in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general accounting.

  • Checks, verifies and posts journal vouchers, accounts payable vouchers, payroll and other accounting records.

  • Prepares accounting reports and analyzes accounting records.

  • Maintains financial data files.

  • Operates standard office machines such as adding machines, calculators and typewriters.

  • Work requires knowledge of specific accounting and clerical procedures.

  • May be in the field with timekeeping functions.

Level Specific Responsibilities:

  • Works under minimal supervision.

  • Performs a wide range of complex accounting clerical duties including posting detailed entries to accounting records and handling routine transactions.

  • Possesses thorough job knowledge and is fully competent in all aspects of the job.

  • May lead or review the work of less senior clerks.

Minimum Requirements

Education: None


  • Minimum of 4 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Receivable and/or Payroll

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • 1 year of Supervisory experience

  • Oracle Software experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products

  • Previous experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry
