POSITION SUMMARY

Provides best in class service to providers, plan sponsors, and internal business partners. Supports clients with financial reporting, premium reconciliation and claim analysis/reporting. Performs tasks and assignments in support of unit's overall objectives.

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS

  • Balance and reconcile financial information.

  • Performs general data gathering and analysis in support of assigned operational accounting functions.

  • Analyze and validates system results to ensure accuracy, accountability and financial data integrity.

  • Analyze and resolve reconciling issues within established time frames.

  • Understand and apply technical policies and procedures of own unit in the performance of specific job functions.

  • Administer business procedures ensuring compliance requirements are satisfied.

  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with customers and internal business partners to maintain a high performance culture.

  • Develop best practices for business needs.

  • Provides professional, prompt and accurate service to all internal and external customers.

    BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE

    At least 1 year of accounting, banking, finance and/or expense processing experience required

    Basic Excel experience required

    At least 1 year of claim processing or customer service experience is preferred

    Healthcare/Medical experience preferred

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Ability to work in a fast paced environment

    Accurate keyboard and Microsoft skills

    EDUCATION

    The highest level of education preferred for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
