IBM Global Leader – Operating Model in Raleigh, North Carolina

The Agile Operating Model Workstream lead is a key member of our Global Acceleration Program (GAP) team. The GAP team is responsible for scaling Agile organization design, ways of working and governance across IBM. The Agile Operating Model Lead is responsible for working across the Agile Acceleration programs to provide guidance and support for the design of the operational flow and operating model for the areas being transformed. The Operating model includes key functions such as workflow, demand management, supply management and financials. This workstream supports the creation of a new assessment of leaders based on Leadership framework, design of the leadership model based on design principles and supports the Local Accelerate Team leader selection and challenge sessions. This workstream also ensures risk mitigation and compliance and coordinates with audit to work with the new structure and way of working. The responsibilities include:

  • Work with and train Local Accelerate Team (LAT) operating model leads

  • Works with and trains Local Accelerate Team (LAT) Risk and Compliance work stream leads

  • Provide templates and methods

  • Develop, refine and share design principles, best practices and learnings

  • Guide and support the Leader assessment team

  • Work closely with the HR team and the HR leaders for the groups going through Accelerate

  • Updates the org structure artefact and templates as needed

  • Regular communication with executive management both written and oral

    Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship While the position can be located across the US, candidates located in these IBM cities are preferred: NYC/Armonk, NY, Cambridge, MA, Austin TX, and RTP, NC.Travel is between 25-50 percent. The travel is a combination of domestic and international travel to IBM sites.
