Job Summary

The Transportation Division of AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Inspector for immediate employment in the Regina, SK office. This is a temporary position.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides construction administration support on numerous different transportation projects during summer construction season

  • Assist the Manager and Senior Project Managers by carrying out project management activities such as project team co-ordination, schedule monitoring, budget compliance and invoice preparation

  • Prepare documentation related to current or prospective projects, including correspondence, reports, proposals, expressions of interest, specifications and meeting minutes

  • Provide roadway and highway facility functional, preliminary and detailed design services, including work on: rural highways; rural and urban roadways; transitways, intersection and interchange design, guardrails, signing, pavement markings, profiles, cross sections, and estimating quantities

  • Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards

  • Promote the company to current and potential clients in order to generate future business

  • Liaise with and assist other AECOM departments and offices in the provision of roadway and highway facility design services to clients

  • Check drawings and quantities

  • Perform construction inspection/administration as needed

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma

  • 7+ years of directly related bridge inspection experience

  • knowledge of survey techniques, materials testing and contract administration

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in road construction
