GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES – The Courier is responsible for delivery, pick-up, and distribution of information to assigned destinations.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

· Delivers facility material, picks up supplies and mail, and distributes to appropriate destinations.

· Runs errands for the clinic as requested, including to banks, the post office, and other institutions.

· Provides reliable transportation for courier duties.

· Assists in sorting, counting, dating, researching various information, and distributing incoming mail.

· Photocopies material when requested.

· Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

· Receives and checks- in supplies and equipment, as requested.

· Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

· At least one year work experience required.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: **

· BLS may be required as per facility standard.

· State issued valid driver’s license may be required.**


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: This job requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. It also requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, computer, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing/eyesight/voice projection to record, prepare, and communicate appropriately. Requires occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Work is performed in an office environment. Work may involve dealing with angry or upset people and may be stressful at times.
