The Director of Vaccines will be responsible for the strategy development for the entire Vaccines offering and own P&L of Flu Vaccine Program for the McKesson Enterprise. Manage profitability of the flu vaccine franchise for MMS: PC, PSS, EC, Moore, Zee, McKesson Pharma and McKesson Specialty and is responsible for the buyside of the core vaccines business. This role now includes Direct customer engagement (selling), larger portfolio of business, broader internal executive management exposure, and increased direct reports
Develop a Vaccines strategy that will leverage both core vaccine efforts along with our strong FLU portfolio to allow us faster sales and margin growth.
Develop, sell, & implement custom vaccines and flu solutions with intent of growing IDN and acute care Segments, winning GPO business
Manage all FLU Vaccine supplier relationships & Portfolio for all McKesson entities MMS including Moore and Zee, Pharma & Specialty. Representing $240 million in sales and $48M in gross profit, manage all promo & speculative buys, shortages & recalls. Develop marketing program for sales. Present 3 -5 year plan to MMS ELT
Develop and oversee development of marketing initiatives to sales field and end users for MMS PC including PSS, MMS EC including Gulf South, Moore, McKesson Pharma including Health-Mart and McKesson Specialty Programs
Manage the EC flu P&L: develop sales and margin goal, communicate sales goal to EC sales executive, develop sale price for independent and national chains account. Develop compensation model for sales field.
Manage Profitability of Moore Medical Flu Vaccine business. Set goal sales and margin goal and implement a product strategy as well pricing for large customers while mitigating channel conflict with MMS PC business.
Lead and develop MMS flu vaccine operation, flu vaccine allocation to each McKesson business segments, product stock quantity by DC, compliance and regulatory tasks i.e customer and suppliers licenses
Lead and support PC and EC customer service team to execute on flu vaccine shipment process: allocation to customer and in-season sales activity to target certain key customer groups
8 years experience in areas such as product management, purchasing, marketing/sales, and or finance, inclusive of 3 years experience in category management and 2 years people management
Experience in managing a business or P&L
Understand supply chain process
Excellent negotiation skills
Strong analytical background
Excellent project and time management skills

- 4 year degree in a science, finance or business Master degree (science or business) preferred
Traditional office environment with large percent of time performing computer based work
