Marketing Coordinator, Demand Generation

The Marketing Coordinator is a critical member of the Verizon Telematics Demand Generation Team: researching, preparing, executing, and reporting on a wide variety of inbound marketing activities including content marketing, marketing automation, media buying and advertising, webinar production, influencer marketing, and email marketing. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, the Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with members of the Demand Gen team and integrate activities with other marketing and sales departments to ensure continual improvement and a consistent flow of qualified leads that convert to sales.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior marketer to build skills, hone interests, and gain exposure to full-spectrum campaign strategy and execution in a rapidly growing segment of a fast-paced Fortune 100 company. The right candidate will bring curiosity, flexibility, organization, creativity, an analytic mind, and a knack for keeping multiple projects on pace. Attention to detail, critical thinking, collaborative work style and excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Specific duties will include

+ + Scheduling and producing webinars, both in-house and through media partners

  • Supporting an extensive media buying program across multiple segments

  • Assisting in identifying and developing relationships with thought leaders in multiple industries to build an effective influencer marketing and editorial contributor program

  • Performing competitive campaign analysis

  • Proofreading and QA of emails, blog posts, landing pages, digital ads and other materials

  • Using web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation software to report on the performance of content, email and advertising programs

  • Coordinating the scheduling, production and delivery of creative assets with multiple internal and external partners

  • Assisting with other projects as required and/or in keeping with specific interests and abilities

What we’re looking for...

Requirements

+ + 4-year degree in marketing or related field

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a marketing support role

  • Excellent organization, analytical and communications skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google applications, especially Excel

  • Ability to interact productively and professionally with colleagues at all levels of the marketing and sales organization

  • Some experience with website analytics

  • Some experience with CRM and marketing automation—particularly SalesForce and Eloqua—preferred but not required
