The Medial Sieve grand challenge research project has an urgent need for a senior Java developer to build a core recommendation engine for clinical decision support.The candidate should have 5-6 years of core Java-based development experience in building scalable web-based healthcare information systems. Knowledge of no SQL databases such as Apache Cassandra, distributed search engines such as Elastic Search or Solr, and GPFS file system are required. Previous experience in working on algorithm development in research environments with agile development models desirable. Master’s degree in Computer Science required. proven communication and problem-solving skills.Relocation to San Jose area required.
