Eaton Corporation Training Coordinator in Searcy, Arkansas

Eaton’s Hydraulics Group is seeking a Training Coordinator for its Power Motion Control Division in Searcy, AR.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate the on the job training (OJT) program for all hourly associates

  • Completes job analysis to ensure training program is kept current with needs

  • Work directly with supervision during manning strategy meetings

  • Provides input into the management review process with regards to training effectiveness

  • Maintains and reports monthly metrics

  • Develop standard work / Job aides for all elements of position

  • Works with all shifts across all functions to ensure alignment with OJT practices

  • Ensures compliance to ISO 14000 and ISO 9001 regulatory requirements

  • Leads and or facilitates Continuous Improvement activities


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Learning and Development/Training position

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Searcy, AR will be considered

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Training Coordinator or a related role

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Basic accounting principles

  • Associate’s / Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Experience with multiple training methodologies / needs analysis programs

  • Experience with maintaining and monitoring databases

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements

  • Possess strong problem solving abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Position Criteria:

  • Working knowledge of training methodologies

  • Working knowledge of Quality Management System (ISO/TS).

  • Ability to lead, coach, direct and influence individuals to successful outcomes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex information

  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization
