Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core financial needs of individual clients and plan participants by connecting our capabilities across the firm. RPWS is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive set of personal wealth and retirement products and services through Banking, Merrill Edge and Advisory channels. RPWS provides tools and content that enables financial advisors and bankers to help their client’s live better financial lives.

Job Description:

The Workplace Financial Solutions Specialist (WFSS) delivers the full suite of workplace financial solutions to bank clients to drive referrals and revenue for the enterprise. The WFS assesses client needs and then coordinates and engages specialists across BAML to deliver all workplace financial solutions The WFS then manages the HR/benefits relationship with the client and uncovers and capitalizes on additional business opportunities as they arise. Primary contact for Relationship managers in Commercial and Business Banking and the client for all workplace financial solutions needs.


  • Industry knowledge of financial wellness trends

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Series 7 & 66 licenses (or ability to obtain within 120 days)

  • Must possess the ability to interact with Leadership Teams and Employees at all levels across the organization.

  • Strong client sales experience, including client need identification and solution delivery

  • Strong relationship building, development and maintenance skills

  • Ability to influence product partners to deliver integrated solutions to clients

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with both internal partners and clients

  • Superior time management, organizational and prioritization skills- comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Effective in navigating the organization

  • Working knowledge of all workplace financial solutions, including general financial education, Money Network, Retirement Services, Healthcare Accounts-HSA Mortgage in-person seminars, and Wealth Management. Experience with , Edge and FSA channel a plus.

  • Ability to work as part of team, under pressure to achieve goals

  • Flexible, positive, high-energy and self-motivated

  • Travel=50%
