Deloitte Digital Internal Communications Lead (Enabling Senior Consultant)

Deloitte Digital and the Digital Market Offering team is seeking an Internal Communications Lead (Senior Consultant level) to develop and execute multi-faceted internal communications strategies and campaigns. The Lead will educate and engage relevant internal stakeholders on the Deloitte Digital creative digital consultancy - including Deloitte Digital practitioners, Deloitte Consulting practitioners, executive leadership, and audiences spanning other Deloitte businesses.

Work You ll Do:

The Internal Communications Lead will:

  • Drive the successful implementation of the Deloitte Digital internal communications plan:

  • Orchestrate the promotion of Deloitte Digital news and information across a variety of internal business units, audiences, and communications channels

  • Effectively identify the right audiences and channels for internal news promotion and write engaging messaging tailored to the editorial needs of each channel

  • Serve as editor of Deloitte Digital s internal newsletter, including soliciting, curating, and editing content and facilitating approvals

  • Manage a third-party news aggregator to produce and deliver a weekly headline summary e-mail

  • Represent Deloitte Digital as a member of Deloitte Consulting s integrated Consulting Communications team by:

  • Tracking, monitoring, and evaluating communications activities and impact

  • Providing insight, recommendations, and regular report-outs to Deloitte Digital and Deloitte Consulting leadership

  • Seek out and applying best practices from other Deloitte teams and from outside the organization, and contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous skills development

  • The Internal Communications Lead will report directly to the Digital Market Offering Marketing Communications Lead

Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or Business

7 years of experience in strategic communications or marketing experience, ideally in the technology industry

7 years of relevant communications experience with a preference for professional services or related industry experience for large, matrixed organization

Interest and understanding of the business technology world and its clients

Strong knowledge of and experience in corporate internal and employee communications strategy, best practices, innovative mediums, as well as overall strategy implementation and execution

Working knowledge of external communications and media relations strategy and best practices, including both traditional and new media

Superior writing, editing, and presentation skills

Strong knowledge in measuring the effectiveness of internal communications strategies and approaches

Works well under pressure and can effectively and professionally handle tough issues

Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

Knowledgeable in communications software needed to perform the function: all aspects of Microsoft Office and ancillary tools, working knowledge of Web-based communication tools including e-mail marketing programs.
