The Administrative Specialist B will provide professional reception and administrative support to Kaiser Permanente Washington’s Office of the President in downtown Seattle. This highly visible role represents the face of Kaiser to our regional and national executive leaders and other visitors. The ideal candidate will have a confident yet welcoming polish that conveys a professional image consistent with Kaiser Permanente’s reputation and commitment to providing quality care to all.
Your primary responsibilities will be to positively greet and direct all visitors, answer incoming calls and handle basic facilities management tasks. We’re looking for “in the moment” problem solvers that can also provide back up support to other more senior administrative staff.
Additionally you will provide advanced administrative support using Microsoft Office software to prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, reports and presentation materials. Collect and distribute and mail. Handle confidential material and information with diplomacy and discretion. May also maintain staff calendars and department files. Qualifications: Education Minimum Education Requirements High School Diploma/GED Preferred Education Some College Advanced education courses Knowledge/Skills Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements Intermediate writing and math skills. Customer service and communication skills. Initiative and analytical ability. Proficiency with software used by the department. Typing: 55 WPM. Skills testing as appropriate.
