We're growing! This new additional "hands on" LPN position will be assigned primarily to our Capitol Hill Medical Center. There will be occasional travel to Northgate.

In this position you will be working with two patient populations, new hires from companies requiring employment services and injured workers requiring assessments and referrals.

The ideal candidate will act as lead on Capitol Hill, be highly organized and accurate in his/her assessments, data gathering and documentation.

In this position you will be:

Providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients in routine nursing situations. Using EPIC, Outlook, Skype and state and national data bases to obtain and transmit information. Obtaining pertinent history and vital signs. Coordinating referrals to other specialty clinics. Maintain instruments, equipment and supplies. Provides hearing screening, spirometry, and drug testing (urine and breath alcohol) In complex situations in which the patient is unstable or requires urgent or emergent care, the LPN functions under the direct supervision of the RN or licensed physician. The LPN is an integral member of the healthcare team, participating in patient assessment and the formulation, implementation and monitoring of the care plan. Qualifications: Education Minimum Education Requirements Graduate from an accredited LPN program. Knowledge/Skills Preferred Knowledge/Skills Basic knowledge of electronic patient charting systems (EPIC), Outlook and Skype.

Experience Preferred Experience Recent ambulatory care experience - Occupational/Employee Health experience. May also consider Behavior Health and Hospice experience.

License/Certifications Minimum License/Certifications Requirements At time of hire Current Washington State LPN license. Current Basic Life Support certification.
