Title: Temporary Account Manager I Location: WA - Seattle-Seattle-Group Health Headquarters Job Number: 171905

Coordinate marketing, account management and group service activities across a specified geographical location for a designated client base in order to meet or exceed membership growth and profitability targets. Lead product line management functions to meet contractual reporting requirements. Resolve client inquiries and complaints and ensure department staff receive necessary information about client issues. Assist in planning marketing campaigns. Plan and manage open enrollment and benefit fair activities, coordinate annual client bid process, monitor competitor activities and assist in developing membership forecasts, rating and program evaluation.

We are looking to hire 2 Temporary Employees into these positions. 1 that will represent the KPWA core FEHB Program and 1 that will represent the KPWAO Options FEHB Program. These temporary roles will come to an end at the end of December 2017. Qualifications: Education Minimum Education Requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred Education Unspecified Knowledge/Skills Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements Knowledge of selling and marketing managed care services, insurance industry, HMO and state and federal regulations, health care industry and employee benefits, rating and underwriting principles and guidelines, marketing and sales principles, local competitors within the client account and client purchasing structure, guidelines and regulations and other client specific information. Ability to influence decision making of various businesses and personalities, speak in public setting and professionally present information, and achieve individual goals and targets. Proficient with corporate sales force automation systems. Interpersonal, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, analytical, problem solving, project management and time management skills. Preferred Knowledge/Skills Unspecified Experience Minimum Experience Requirements 2 years HMO/Insurance industry and account management experience of managed care plans or group health insurance, employee benefits and/or marketing communication with 1 year experience working with client in a marketing or service related capacity and experience with PC window-based applications. Preferred Experience Unspecified License/Certifications Minimum License/Certifications Requirements Able to obtain shortly after hire Oregon/Washington State Health insurance license within 3 months of hire.
