Kaiser Permanente Training & Documentation Specialist in Seattle, Washington

Develop and lead detailed and complex training programs that integrate computer application skills with new and revised workflow, business requirements and technology. Consult with statewide customers to assess training needs, make training recommendations and design, develop and implement training programs. Responsible for composition, formatting, and syntax of technical writing. Researches, analyzes, and composes technical documentation and hard copy and web-based documents using technical writing and composition concepts. Consult with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts on documentation creation and maintenance.

*This role has the ability to work out of our Tukwila or Spokane WA corporate offices.

Education

Minimum Education Requirements

Vocational School/Certificate Prog Adult training and/or curriculum design, technical writing or equivalent experience.

Preferred Education

Bachelors Degree Adult Education, Learning and Development, or related degree

Knowledge/Skills

Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements

Intermediate Able to work independently & collaboratively; detail oriented; and excellent written & verbal communication, problem definition, problem solving and PC skills including MS Word, Excel & Oulook required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

Advanced MS OFfice, LMS, Adobe, Captivate

Experience

Minimum Experience Requirements

3 years Training in a corporate setting with demonstrated ability to develop and design and deliver training through multiple mediums. Technical writing skills, policy or compliance experience.

Preferred Experience

Other Experience Knowledge of Active/Interactive training methods for adults and evidence based learning.
