Eaton Corporation TA Regional Employment Marketing and Technology Lead in Shanghai Shi, China


State the primary function or overall purpose of your position.

Develop and execute a robust communications/branding strategy for APAC region in support of the employment goals of Eaton Corporation, select employer branding programs to participate and define a strategy to win.

Support university relations team on both internal and external communications including communication approaches, material design and action plan

Support Talent Acquisition Center , to manage internal and external recruitment marketing

Develop and deploy targeted employer branding strategies in the APAC region for students, mid-level professionals and senior executive level talents

  • Define themes and messages for talent communication on job boards, social media, university campus and

    employee referral program etc. using Eaton global and country Employment Value Proposition reports

  • Be an experimental practitioner of social medial, professional websites and other emerging recruitment tools, educate Talent Acquisitions teams on trends of these channels

  • Provide thought leadership on employer branding, communication and insights of talent market


  • Work together with Talent Acquisition to identify target talent groups, define communication

    strategies and deploy action plans base on respective career aspirations of different talent groups

    Corporate Social Responsibility activities, wellness programs and other Eaton’s resources & best practices




Internal /external Communication

  • Work with Corp communication, HR & business marketing teams to generate content for employer brand on employee magazine and external medias

  • Promote regional HR initiatives including I&D, wellness, etc. internally and externally;

  • Administrate corporate HR quarterly newsletter.

Promote Eaton Employee Referral Program (EERP) in the APAC region

  • Drive EERP in APAC - including partnering with the regional TA managers, ETA and HR leadership team to drive engagement and excitement.

  • Ongoing promotion of the program to continually promote the awareness of program, position and process

  • Deploy special promotion programs as necessary

  • Point of contact for ongoing EERP support and issues..

Analyze metrics, spend, and resources for career/employment resources, partners, and technology solutions. Provide budget proposals.

  • Liaison of APAC TA to Global TA Operations Manager

  • Support and coordinate project management of regional HOP activities ( Recruiting and Onboarding deployments, upgrades and integrations)

  • Identify new opportunities and tools to improve system execution, program execution and overall TA quality of services in APAC

  • In collaboration with the Regional TA Manager and ETA, drive adoption of all recruitment tools and technology

Describe any specialized knowledge or skill (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative, managerial) which your position requires.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or marketing related field required.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful talent acquisition communications/marketing strategies.

  • Change Management: understanding of the change management process and prior demonstrated experience with leading large change management initiatives.

  • Program Management Skills: Ability to lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of projects and serve as the content expert and consultant to management regarding the project content and development.

  • Calibration skills – manage multiple stake holders

  • Good verbal and written communication skills: Ability to synthesize complex information, understand the needs and interests of target audiences

  • Manage program compliance

  • Must have experience working in a global cross-functional team environment
