Eaton Corporation Materials Scheduler in Shawnee, Oklahoma

Eaton’s Hydraulics Group, within the Power Motion Control Division, is seeking a Materials Scheduler. The Materials Scheduler will be based at its Shawnee, OK facility.

Position Overview :

The Materials Scheduler effectively manages supplier(s) to maintain high performance on time delivery and quality. The position will maintain material replenishment to support operation while balancing inventory levels and plan optimal delivery sequences. The Materials Scheduler resolves material shortages in a timely manner, while providing root cause analysis.

Essential Functions :

  • Daily monitoring of Material replenishment through MRP, Min and Max, Supplier Visualization, inputs and outputs to ensure that suppliers are correctly replenishing our sites.

  • Working with SIOP & Logistics to align replenishment and logistics with demand requirements.

  • Providing input to PFEP. The materials Planner plays a critical role in the replenishment, monitor supplier performance and supporting the maintenance of min-max settings.

  • Analyzing and monitoring the MRP forecast for his/her items to ensure accuracy for proper planning by suppliers and for its use in calculating Min-Max.

  • Providing input on supplier capacity and performance status to Material group and Supplier Development teams.

  • Perform demand control and weekly supplier capacity reviews.

  • Address not promised at expected lead time. Resolves Demand Filter conflicts timely, order entry based on production capacity and availability of purchased and manufactured components.

  • Review the shipment forecast to ensure reorder point alignment to the master schedule.

  • Provides level loaded plan based on manufacturing line rate agreed to in SIOP.

  • Anticipated constraints on suppliers capacity, availability and material availability.

  • Manage the resolution of MRP critical action messages.

  • Support action for rough cut capacity plan implementation (RCCP).

  • Perform audit to item master, lead time segmentation and key parameters related to the plant blueprint.

  • Support to New Products Development (NPD), PPAP and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in one or more of the following functional areas: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Materials Management or Logistics.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • APICS CPIM certification.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with consumption based replenishment; Min-max, Kanban, etc.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, to include intermediate Excel (V-look ups, pivot tables).

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with MRP master data management.

  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and team work skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Project management experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret and document complex business process systems.

  • Understanding of SIOP, inventory management, scheduling, capacity planning and materials replenishment.
