IBM ASEAN Business Control Manager in SINGAPORE, Singapore

  • Act as a BC focal for GBS ASEAN GBS ASEAN Management & Operation

  • Supports management to sustain and verify a satisfactory controls posture

  • Raise awareness of BC within IMT GBS ASEAN

  • Interface with other LoBs, global and AP counterparts

  • Manage IMT level MSAC Reporting

  • Provide leadership and task management to the IMT BC team

  • Build the BC knowledge base

  • Manage the GBS ASEAN IMT MSAC reporting

  • Support other LoBs in their MSAC reporting on GBS ASEAN.

  • Identify and assess threats and associated risk; reports and takes action.

  • Initiate / support the improvements and efficiencies in GBS key processes – operational processes and business processes to align them effectively to the new business model for ASEAN GBS.

  • Coordinate with the various CoE teams (STS, Finance CoE, AP Delivery Operations etc) supporting GBS ASEAN to be aligned with GBS processes changes and providing effective support adhering to GBS ASEAN compliance requirements.

  • Oversee business compliance in GBS ASEAN

  • Ensure the SOX Testing CoE team drives the key controls testing

  • Ensure the SOX Testing CoE team drives the defect handling process

  • Access other local measurement requirements and establish compliance matrix and testing

  • Support corrective and improvement projects to sustain good business controls posture.

  • Manage BC compliance policies and procedures.

  • Ensure BC team drives audit readiness

  • Support and ensure the IMT management teams mobilize for audits
