Pearson Singapore is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join on a 5 month contract and support business readiness activities for a global transformation project (The Enabling Program - TEP).

The Business Analyst will work with the project team, Finance and Operations Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a number of APAC businesses, to define and document business and technical requirements related to all business processes, policies, reporting and data in scope and impacted by TEP, including capturing current and proposed future-state full end-to-end workflows.

The Business Analyst will;

  • Manage and coordinate Finance and Operations SME activities

  • Be responsible for successful completion of deliverables to an agreed standard.

  • Be responsible for collaborating with other Project BAs and Technology resources

  • Assist the SMEs in capturing and planning for gaps and opportunities in current state processes and will highlight potential change impacts for the business.

  • Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Finance and Operations Work stream Leads.

  • Ensure activities are aligned with project objectives and key stakeholder expectations.

  • Flag risks and escalate issues and decisions in line with the governance structure.

Qualifications

  • Commercial experience in analysing business requirements and process re-engineering.

  • Previous experience in Business/Data Analysis.

  • Finance and or Supply Chain knowledge will be highly regarded.

  • Proven experience in documenting business requirements, process mapping and data mapping.

  • Proven ability to; manage multiple activities, work proactively and prioritise workload.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
