Position Title Graphic Designer/ Senior Graphic Designer

The role will be working within the AECOM Design, Planning & Economics (DP&E) team providing graphic support to Creative Services, Marketing, Planning, Landscape and Strategy teams.
Reporting to the Creative Services Leader, a key focus of the role will be assisting in the delivery of wayfinding & signage strategies for mixed use, transport and commercial developments. Duties here include client management, visual identity development, document preparation, concept and detailed design of signage, as well as some site supervision duties.
In addition the designer will assist all disciplines within DP&E in the preparation of publications, presentations and graphic collateral. The nature of this work may vary from competition submissions, tender documentation, report compilation, on screen presentations and marketing collateral.
Overview of tasks
Assist in the development of wayfinding strategies including site analysis, written content, and diagram
Develop concept designs for signage including simple elevations and perspectives.
Develop detailed designs for signage including detailed elevations and perspectives.
Liaise with clients and supervise fabrication and installation of signage.
Design and layout display boards for competition submissions.
Design and layout documents for bids and for planning and design reports including text and diagrammatic content.
Develop cover graphics and visual identities for project documentation and collateral.
Create diagrams and infographics for AECOM documentation and publications.
Create on screen presentations in InDesign and PPT. (Adobe Edge/After Effects knowledge an advantage).
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or Related Field
5 years experience in a professional design environment.
Experience in wayfinding & signage systems,
Experience with and report /publication design and layout.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A folio that demonstrates excellent design, communication, layout, and typographic skills.
Advance knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite primarily, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Basic knowledge of Auto CAD and SketchUp. Knowledge of Rhino or 3D Studio Max will be an advantage.
Ability to use paragraph styles and automatic numbering features in InDesign.
Folio demonstrates experience in wayfinding and signage design, publications, and diagramatic and infographic design.
A logical mind, and an understanding of how information should be structured and delivered for clear and effective communication across a variety of applications.
Fluent in English. Additional language skills of Bahasa Indonesia or Melayu, Chinese, or Arabic an advantage.
