This is an exciting opportunity in Singapore for a Warehouse Supervisor. Cummins Global Logistics Singapore where Warehouse Supervisor responsible for supervising warehouse activities within Singapore Master PDC. Ensure internal and external operations needs are addressed through successful management of people and processes.

Thinking beyond your desk includes:

  • Ensure daily productivity target are met

  • Work with other supervisors and cross functional teams to resolve daily operational issues

  • Lead Improvement work using Lean tools such as 6 Sigma, Kaizen, A3’s etc

  • Resolve people management issues (Conflict and Tardiness etc.) and escalate to management when necessary

  • Drive Safety Initiatives and Right Environment Culture for the team

  • Handle operations system and process issues on the SHOP floor

  • Ensure compliance to the standard operating procedures (SOP’s)

  • Manpower management (Overtime, E-time System etc)

  • Coach and develop team members

  • Drive TWBS Culture

  • Work and support Operations Manager on identification of training needs for team member

  • Conduct daily meeting with team members to cascade down priorities and information and address operation issues.

  • Assist other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

Education/Qualification requirements

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Engineering related filed preferred

  • Business Proficient in English

  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office application

  • At least 3 years working experience in production and logistic operation or completion of Junior Associate Program.

  • Forklift license (preferable)

  • Lean distribution experience a plus (value stream mapping).

  • Experience in automotive aftermarket distribution is a plus.

  • Experience in driving reach-truck, order-picker and VNA

  • Experience in supervising others in warehouse environment.

  • Certification in Supervisory / Safety courses

Compensation and Benefits
