Eaton Corporation Receiving Coordinator and Stockroom Attendant in South Bend, Indiana

Eaton in South Bend, IN is hiring a Receiving Coordinator and Stockroom Attendant. The primary function of this role is to support the Materials and Finance departments by managing stockroom inventory, supporting steel and Heat Treat transactions, and loading/unloading trucks as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Complete Oracle receiving transactions daily

  • Receiving of goods daily & transporting to its needed location

  • Organizing supplies and maintaining the stockroom using 5S & Lean tools daily

  • Unloading trucks for receiving daily

  • Use forklifts to load/unload trucks as needed

  • Clean, restock visitor / contractor hardhats, glasses, gloves, & visitor slip-on protective toe caps

  • Complete Oracle heat treat receiving transactions daily

  • Check and restock gloves, freeze pops, ear plugs, & lens wipes as needed

  • Prepare monthly press bolt preventative maintenance bins to be deployed to the press lines

  • Complete daily billet inventory transactions

Position Criteria:

  • Candidate is proficient with Microsoft Office software

  • Candidate has multiple years working on or with computers

  • Candidate has experience using a forklift

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of South Bend, IN will be considered for this position.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
