Creates and deploys winning product strategies and manages product portfolio to drive profitable growth. Oversees product strategy and manages product portfolio for life and/disability group insurance. Join a leader in the industry!
Oversee product strategy for assigned life/disability insurance product lines, ensures product strategies are integrated within the company/unit strategy and operational plans. Maintain mastery-level understanding of Aetna/unit strategy, customers, and regulatory environment; Analyze, interpret, and build information on customer trends, competitor moves and product performance; Demonstrate mastery-level understanding of key drivers of product performance (pricing, sales, distributions, quoting, marketing, as well as business processes); Ensure product strategies are articulated in a compelling manner; Leveral verbal and written communication to obtain buy-in from critical partners, including prioritization and funding; Take full accountability for end result, serve as product expert and leverage all resources available to achieve objectives.
3-5 years of strong product development,market, planning and implementation experience; 6-10 years of Group (Life and/or Disability and Absence) experience; demonstrated excellence in working collaboratively with teams outside span of control; Success in leading cross-functional projects with a demonstrated ability to influence the project is a definite plus.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
