CACI International JISCC SME Engineering Technician IV (Secret) - St. Inigoes, MD in St. Inigoes, Maryland
We are seeking an individual that has knowledge of and experience with the operation and maintenance of Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISCC) systems.
This is an engineering support position staffed by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide assistance to the engineering staff on all aspects of the JISCC system. The candidate will be assigned to assist the engineering staff on system upgrades, testing, and/or design parameters.
The candidate performs recurring work independently; work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions. Performs at this level, a combination of such typical duties as:
IA - Run IA scans, STIG Checks, develop and test workstation and server Technical Directives. Provide input to Cyber team for IAVA results and any issues.
IT - Maintain servers and workstations to include VM and radio programming software on all related computers.
Radio - General knowledge on use, testing and configuration of LMR and Green radios.
Satellite- General working knowledge of satellite communications including modem configuration, troubleshooting, set-up and tear-down.
Tech Writing- Ability to write coherently and concisely as required for Technical Directive development.
Physical requirement- must be comfortable with working in the shed, lifting, moving cases.
Conduct various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement.
Measure and record problems of significant complexity that sometimes require resolution at a higher level.
COMPTIA Security +
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree in electronic or engineering technology and six years of practical experience in electronics.
High school diploma plus U.S. Military Electronics school/Electronic Technology Certificate from an accredited Institution, and eight years of experience directly involved in electronics.
Current Secret or higher security clearance is required.
Travel may be required.
MCSE or Cisco CCNA preferred
