  • Collaborates with clients, vendors, Parallon managers and business representatives and Parallon technical leads to analyze, define, and document functional and non-functional business requirements utilizing standard business analyst tool sets which include use cases, prototypes, data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, and business cases.

  • Leads discovery sessions which use a variety of requirements gathering methods such as interviews, documentation analysis, surveys, site visits, and business models with executives, managers, developers and subject matter experts. Delivers formal presentations to executive and senior management.

  • Applies comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of business processes to recommend opportunities to optimize business process through utilization of technology.

  • Manages medium to large scope projects and coordinates assistance from internal and external resources. Tracks project progress, identifies and communicates risks, updates status, and assesses potential impact to the business.

  • Interacts with internal and external representatives (business and technical) to translate requirements into detailed program designs.

  • Provides second or third level support to resolve escalated incidents or fulfill requests received from users; provides status on user issues. Works with enterprise subject matter experts and technical resources to manage resolution of system incidents and requests.

  • Uses extensive knowledge of the business system environment to optimize the configuration and utilization of the environment and ensure reliable streamlined functionality. Ability to architect solutions that incorporate other enabling technology.

  • Guides others in definition, documentation, and execution of rigorous test plans to ensure implemented solutions meet documented requirements and expose defects.

  • Oversees deployment of enhancements and modifications to QA and Production environments; adheres to change management practices.

  • Ensures data security and integrity and system reliability.

  • Coordinates with business owners to communicate changes and train users.

  • Maintains technical documentation and system knowledge base.

  • Performs development tasks to maintain process jobs or develop scripts to automate system functions.

  • Contributes to the development of standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Works with limited supervision; provides guidance and coaching to less experienced team members.

  • SSIS experience.

  • Extremely proficient in the use of T-SQL for development of complex stored procedures, triggers, tables, views, user defined functions, relational database models and data integrity, and SQL joins in SQL Server 2008/2012/2016.

  • Strong experience in SQL Server DTS and SSIS (Integration Services) package design, development, and deployment using SQL 2008/2012/2016 advanced features in Control flow, data flow, Error Handling and event handling.

  • Strong ability to interpret data files and record layouts to map fields between multiple systems and database tables.

  • Strong experience with data transportation, transformation and cleansing.

  • Strong experience in the management of the support and enhancement of systems running in a high volume production environment.

  • Proven experience in the creation of project estimates and timelines.

  • Superior knowledge of relational databases and demonstrated experience in code development.

  • Superior knowledge of database concepts.

  • Excellent ability to optimize and tune SQL queries to improve performance.

  • Excellent ability to assess job execution and recommend improvements to aid in job load leveling and optimize timing to load data.

  • Strong ability to multi-task.

  • Knowledge of system development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

  • Knowledge of hardware and operating systems and ability to work in a distributed environment.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point.
