Monsanto Global Seed Health Regulatory lead in ST. LOUIS, Missouri

Global seed regulatory establishes and maintains FTO to enable

our business to move seed globally. The Global Seed Health Regulatory Lead is

accountable to assure alignment and establishment of long term plans for

Phytosanitary information management and communication and to drive development

and alignment on a comprehensive seed health company strategy.

Key Business Accountabilities:

  • Developa Global Regulatory Phytosanitary Information Management strategy,contemplating cross functional needs of data and knowledge repository

  • Establishand provide leadership of a Seed Health Strategy Team, in order toeffectively prioritize resource allocations and programs developments

  • Createand lead Global Cross Functional teams to develop or implement seedhealth strategies and programs; ensure Monsanto Global Seed Healthguidelines and best practices are developed and implemented acrossfunctions, help develop Monsanto positions on Seed Health policy

  • Actas contact and source of information for diverse Phytosanitary changemanagement initiatives

  • Developand support functional development of seed health accreditation strategies

  • Provideregulatory leadership and coordination for current initiatives (Post EntryQuarantine in Brazil, NSHAPP, others) and propose opportunities forimprovement

  • Bean active member of the Global Seed Regulatory network, assuring properrepresentation of regional needs and interestsas global strategies aredesigned

Core Business/Functional Skills and Education:

  • Graduatedegree or a B.S. with appropriate experience in scientific disciplinerequired in addition 5+ years of experience in seed, agricultural,agbiotech, or chemistry industry.

  • Strongknowledge of Monsanto functions and a strong understanding of the impactseed Regulatory has on business success

  • Demonstratedability to influence others to achieve a desired outcome

  • Demonstratedstrong networking skills, ability to manage international stakeholders

  • Excellentpeople skills, able to work effectively with wide range of functionalgroups and with seed regulatory leadership team

  • Excellentorganization and time management skills

  • Balancedattention to detail with broader scale objectives

  • Processoriented, familiarity with quality management systems is desired
