Technology Development & Agronomy is focused on driving customer value through local integrated solutions. How do we do this?

  • By developing integrated solutions under farm conditions.

  • Building connectivity, confidence and competence in our sales organization.

  • Providing valued, trusted and local advice to farmers.

  • Collaboratively developing agronomic systems data to support customer needs and improving the success of our integrated solutions.

  • Developing and demonstrating best practices for sustainable insect, weed and disease management.

This internship will offer an opportunity to gain a broad experience within a market-leading multinational company. With this internship you will have exposure to Monsanto’s global commercial business as well as breeding, biotech, regulatory and stewardship.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As and intern for Global Technology Development & Agronomy you will be responsible for enhancing and driving connectivity across the organization. Activities can include, but are not limited to:

  • Driving and refining recently launched communication tools.

  • Developing content for Global TD communications and guidelines.

  • Driving TD engagement and collaboration through internal and external social media tools.

  • Coordinating and communicating global awards selection process.

Required Skills/Experiences:

  • Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Agriculture, Ag Business or an applicable field of study

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, Social Media)

  • Fluency in English, written as well as spoken

  • Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment

Desired Skills/Experiences:

  • Being self-motivated, independent, results oriented, a networker and agile is greatly beneficial.

  • Experience in marketing and communications

  • Knowledge of agronomy/agricultural systems or international business is a plus.

  • The ability to write and speak a foreign language (Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, etc.) is also a plus.
