Summary: Provide software engineering and web development expertise in support of software development and day-to-day operations of system operations and maintenance activities.

Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work on a 3 – 5 person team developing and maintaining thick client and web-based thin-client software applications.

  • Design and develop new thin client, web-based capabilities/applications

  • Derive requirements through interactions with customers/users

  • Test, deploy and maintain applications

  • Software deployment

  • Configuration management

  • Integration testing

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 10 to 12 years of related experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a current TS/SCI and the ability to obtained and maintain the required polygraph per customer requirements.

  • Understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards

  • Web Development Skills – Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services

Desired Qualifications

  • Programming Skills – Messaging (JMS), SWING, Frameworks (Hibernate, Spring, Camel), Apache Tomcat, SQL

  • Security+ or CISSP

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
