Hilton Food and Beverage Supervisor in Sydney, Australia

About the role

In your new role you will be responsible for managing the performance of the Hotel Restaurant and Bar outlets, by supporting your team with daily activities, and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. You will assist the Food and Beverage Manager and Executive Chef with menu development, and you will be responsible for leading and developing your team to ensure a consistent high level of service.

Duties/responsibilities

  • Manage and support daily Restaurant and Bar operations
  • Manage the team, ensuring that brand standards are met and guest expectations are exceeded
  • Assist with menu planning, and strategic planning to achieve financial targets
  • Resolve conflicts and issues where necessary
  • Train and develop team members
  • Ensure your team maintains a professional manner and are up to date with VIP guest movements, hotel events, local attractions and activities

Skills/experience

  • At least 2 years experience in a Food and Beverage Supervisory or Management role
  • Fluent in the English language in order to communicate professionally with guests and team members, both in person and over the telephone
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure
  • Well-presented, organised and calm personality

It would be advantageous for you to demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Multi-lingual
  • Previous experience in a hotel environment
