Eaton Crouse-Hinds is currently seeking Project Manager, New Product Introduction.

NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position reports to the Program Manager of New Product Development and independently develops and directs a broad range of product design projects.
The Project Manager is responsible for the initiation, development and timely completion of New Product Introduction projects. This includes the planning and scheduling of projects, engineering and development cost/timing, product cost analysis and evaluation of alternatives, design reviews, management reviews, tooling release and production readiness.
Ability to apply project management methodologies and strategies to reduce potential project risk throughout the duration of the project lifecycle.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to delineate work breakdown for all functional areas
Ability to build effective teams made up of diverse individual contributors
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Development and accountability to performance of project resource allocation\
Prioritize and communication of project tasks
Communication of project status to management (tollgates, leadership reviews, stand-up meetings, weekly report outs)
Ability to manage $5M plus Mature Annual Sales projects, 100 plus SKUs typically in the project and would likely be limited to complex sub-systems or simple system level projects that are strategically critical in nature
Capable to drive teams and projects to achieve scope attainment and time to market requirements
Projects are typically of a multi-site and/or cross divisional in nature
Proficient in the identification and management of project/program risk (associated with cost, timing, scope)
Proficient in tracking and management of product cost, project costs, labor, and capital
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
7 years of experience leading projects
5 years of engineering experience.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area (50 miles radius) will be considered for this position
Bachelors of Science degree in engineering from an accredited institution
Experience with electrical products and an understanding of UL/CSA and global certification requirements
High level of integrity
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Computer Skills – MS Office, MS Project, knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to leverage resources effectively in a matrix environment
