CACI International C4 Application Systems Project Transition Coordinator in Tampa, Florida

Job Description:

CACI is hiring an Applications Systems Analyst who will function as a Project Transition Coordinator to support our team at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.


You will be responsible for the successful transition of C4 Application Systems projects into the Operations and Maintenance environment. This includes a primary responsibility of ensuring capabilities are delivered to Operations in a controlled and sustainable way and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the transition period. Activities will include project coordination, business analysis, documentation as well as communicating on behalf of the C4 Systems Division to the customer and diverse groups of stakeholders.

You should be a proactive self-starter with excellent written/verbal communication skills, and able to work with minimal supervision. You have an eye for detail, ability to multi-task, organize priorities, and work in a systematic style. You should be able to work within a cross-functional, highly matrixed, organizational structure team environment.

This position requires the use of collaborative leadership skills to influence others, with or without direct authority, and to unite groups with diverse perspectives in order to bring teams to consensus/alignment. This position also requires a demonstrated understanding of Networked C4 Application Systems.


  • Formulates/defines system scope and objectives.

  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

  • Prepares detailed specifications for programs. Assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.

  • Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.

  • Formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.

  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs.

  • Provides overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.

  • Assists all phases of software systems programming applications.

  • Evaluates new and existing software products.

  • Acts as the communications focal point for C4 Application Systems projects and perform as a direct communications conduit between leadership and stakeholders

  • Participate in developing strategic plans for project transition

  • Provide timely and precise communications rat all levels across the organization to facilitate smooth and effective delivery of Operations project deliverables

  • Coordinate the completion of project documentation by facilitating the participation of disparate technology groups

  • Work independently with minimal oversite to complete work on schedule

  • Support various project activities and process requirements

  • Develop After Action Reports and/or lessons learned for process improvement recommendations

  • Be flexible and adept at multi-tasking, perform a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis, sometimes even simultaneously completing work on schedule

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years direct IT related experience and High School Diploma

• Proficiency in Project Management Principles and methods

• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and quick turnaround deliverables.

• Proficient in Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)

• SECRET clearance (DoD) able to obtain TS/SCI

• Active passport and the ability to travel overseas on short notice


• 5 years direct IT related experience

• ITIL Foundation v3 Certification

• Security + certification (8570 Requirement)

• 5 years supervisory experience

• Able to obtain TS/SCI clearance (DoD)
