Network Information Security organization is tasked with designing, implementing and maintaining information security capabilities and services for the PwC Network of member firms. The organization consists of highly skilled information security professionals across the globe that are focused on developing a leading security program across the Network of Firms, to foster clientsâ€™ trust in our ability to secure their most sensitive data, to better position PwC to address clientsâ€™ evolving needs and to harmonize the internal firm security strategy with client services go-to-market strategy. The group is leading PwC's Network Security Transformation Programme, which is a multi-year programme to enhance existing capabilities and build new capabilities to combat the ever more complex cyber threats.
Security Architecture, Engineering and Innovation designs and builds security technology capabilities across the PwC Network of Firms. They provide information security architecture standards, support PwC IT programmes, identify and pilot innovative security technologies and implement security tools to address risks and IT security painpoints.
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED
Degree Preferred: MBA or Bachelor's degree
Demonstrates thought-leader knowledge of, and/or proven record of success in, firm priorities, Network Information Security concepts, principles and standards and their application in a large enterprise environment, preferably for a global network of professional services firms or matrix environment, emphasizing the following areas:
Providing security architecture vision, integration and problem solving on an enterprise level;
Working across functions, defining security architecture standards while applying enterprise vision and governance;
Establishing strategic initiatives to evolve a sustainable security architecture for the firm;
Establishing thought-leadership at the firm level for how the security architecture will evolve to maximize the value of the enterprise's IT processes and systems;
Developing and maintaining effective business relationships;
Leading efforts and thought-leadership to develop, maintain, govern, and evolve the security architecture for the firm;
Managing the security architecture efforts for the Network Information Security team; and,
Defining the strategy to maximize business value through its integration of security processes and systems across all functions of the firm.
Demonstrates thought-leader abilities, and/or proven record of success in, firm priorities, Network Information Security concepts, principles and standards and their application in a large enterprise environment, preferably for a global network of professional services firms or matrix environment, emphasizing the following areas:
Collaborating with Chief Technology Officer and Program Boards to develop roadmaps;
Defining and validate architecture principles and standards;
Defining strategy and implementation plans for training programs to address technical needs based on business demand roadmaps;
Identifying skill development needs; researching and creating training to raise skills and core competencies for staff, and encouraging staff training and development;
Delivering cost-effective service levels of IT infrastructure to efficiently leverage the firm's intellectual capital;
Communicating security architecture and standards to all stakeholders; overseeing the maintenance of, and adherence to, published standards;
Providing counseling, coaching and mentoring to staff;
Partnering with firm leadership to define and set strategic direction for the security architecture to realize the strategic priorities of the firm;
Developing and strengthening relationships outside the functional team, focusing on understanding the needs of those who depend on the teamâ€™s services and those who deliver services; and,
Leading and collaborating with team members to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation, answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff, coaching, developing, and mentoring staff including providing timely meaningful written.
