Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking an LNG & Future Fuels Maintenance Manager to join the Maintenance (FMC) Team in The Hague. The LNG & Future Fuels Maintenance Manager will report to the FMC Operations Manager.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1.Responsible for the operational delivery of all Future Fuel Projects, including LNG Programmes

2.Manage the maintenance contractor and occasionally also end-to-end project services within a set of clear performance indicators.

3.Strong track record in operational delivery of HSSE processes and communication as HSSE is the most important of the KPI’s

4.Strong background in process engineering combined with Client/Team and Contractor interaction to maintain seamless communications and client confidence

5.Strong management and leadership skills to motivate contractors and colleagues and provide excellence in execution due to the fast moving and extremely demanding work environment

6.Manage the delivery of client and AECOM HSSE requirements

7.Manage the maintenance contractors

8.Manage the delivery of small projects within the maintenance scope agreed budgets

9.Deliver savings on OPEX costs, where appropriate

10.Attend regular safety meetings, ensure messages conveyed to the operational staff and contractors, manage the safety messages into the projects and audit to give confidence that the safety is being implemented in accordance with client and AECOM HSSE processes and procedures.

11.Provide Feedback safety learning’s to the Safety Manager to provide continuous learning for the whole team.

12.Provide safety training for operational staff and look for opportunities to give training to the supply chain.

13.Be a Member of the FMC Team charged with delivering work orders to time (SLA), costs and quality standards

14.Ensure compliance to all technical standards for Future Fuel projects, while giving the solutions sufficient flexibility to meet the needs of the business

15.Manage the supply chain partners and ensure that they perform to required and agreed project execution plans to meet the clients’ desired outcome.

16.Ensure that work is delivered within the agreed values of AECOM and the client.

Scope:

  • LNG retail in Netherlands and Belgium

  • Operation and maintenance of LNG retail stations

  • Performance management of the LNG retail stations & application of continuous improvements

  • Change management for design improvements

  • Contractor (L3) management for maintenance and operations activities

  • Incident investigations of incidents at LNG retail stations

  • Legal compliance of LNG retail stations

Minimum Requirements

  • Higher technical degree (HTS) process engineering/chemical engineering

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in process industry in a Management/Supervisor role

  • Experience in incident investigation, change management and continuous improvement

  • Technical background in process management

  • HSSE Leadership

  • Confident and capable individual with strong client focus

  • Recognized construction or design qualification (or similar experience)

  • Experience in managing complex technical projects

  • Strong track record in delivering projects in a fast moving and challenging environment

  • Ability to work under pressure to tight dead-lines

  • Knowledge level in process safety

  • Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel and Word

  • Full Driving License

  • Flexible for frequent travel. The position is based in The Hague but there is significant travel around the country. Role is expected to be field-based but is subject to change depending on programme needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Management qualification

  • Experience in LNG or Cryogenic Liquids is advantageous
