Verizon Billing Analyst in Tulsa, Oklahoma
What you’ll be doing...
You’ll be responsible for cash application activities, payment processing, researching moderately complex customer payment analysis and addressing customer/Agent inquiries. Annual cash payments managed total over $6B annually within the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains ERP system. Additional responsibilities include collections, bad-debt write-offs, 3rd party agency placement and requests related to Indirect Agent mergers, acquisitions and new storefronts. You will work closely with Area Finance ensuring credit limits are properly approved and credit limit changes are made accurately and timely within Great Plains and resolve delinquent invoice issues quickly. You’ll also develop and document methods and procedures to ensure all payments are received and applied accurately and timely. You will work closely with the Indirect Operation teams to process customer master additions, deletions and changes.
Assisting in the support of strategic projects by participating in meetings that lead to improved results.
Partnering with team members and management to identify and implement business improvements to achieve ongoing operational efficiencies.
Assisting with the development and maintenance of process documentation.

You’ll have strong analytical and problem solving skills, but you’ll also have a customer service orientation and be a great communicator who can interact well with a diverse range of people.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
One or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Even better if you have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
