Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for Saint Luke's Hospital, part of the Mohawk Health System. This position will report into the System Executive Chef. Will have the oversite of 15 Mohawk Health System employees, a Union Account. The Chef will take ownership with three other Managers, of patient dining and retail operation; as well as quality standards, food safety, sanitation & environmental safety for regulatory complaince. Position will also assist with inventory & on-line orderering, employee training, food and labor cost, and Patient Experience. Work closely with the Operations Manager and Executive Chef on on-going program enhancements. Team Player!!!

Seeking a Chef with dynamic catering experience and truly will showcase some large events that are hosted by Sodexo.

Position Summary

Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables. May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

  • Handles administrative functions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Basic Management Experience - 1 year
