POSITION SUMMARY: Provide software development support to small team of 24/7 operators, signal analysts, and system engineers focused on developing mission using new sensor platform. Develop new or integrate existing tools covering all aspects of SIGINT production—requirements, tasking, scheduling, data acquisition, processing, analysis, fusion, reporting, data storage, data access, and performance metrics. Utilize cloud software architecture following agile or spiral development methods


  • Develop new or integrate and leverage existing tools and algorithms in support of tasking, scheduling, data collection, processing, analysis, and metrics

  • Troubleshoot software issues and coordinate resolution with external developers

  • Support software baseline used by a small team of analysts and 24/7 operators through maintenance and development

  • Coordinate with System Engineers to create software solutions maximizing sensor usage to meet dynamic requirements


Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related work experience.

Required Skills:

  • Experience developing SIGINT tools for data processing, fusion, exploitation, analysis, products and distribution

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Linux Operating System environment

  • Experience developing Graphical User Interfaces

  • Knowledge of cloud-based computing development

  • Knowledge of modeling and simulation tools such as Systems Tool Kit (STK)

  • Familiarity with creating and implementing Systems Security Plan and Body of Evidence

  • Experience developing User Acceptance Testing for Validation and Verification

  • Knowledge of developing and supporting metrics

  • Experience with software defined radio architecture such as Redhawk

  • Experience with X-Midas


Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
